Luigi’s Dream Build

AX Fork

Nice to receive the first of the ‘Dream Build’ submissions I’ve been hoping would start rolling in.  Luigi is planning this, rather than already having built it – this is what he had to share: “I’m planning to get a Parlee Z3 nude with etched logo.  These are the parts I’m planning to build it … Read more

Lugs to Lightweights – Episode 18: Crank Choice Woes (help!)

SmartFoot

I’ve run into chainset issues folks – it’s time to stop being so secretive about the components I’m using because I want to know what you lot think.  So the detail is below, what would you do? My first choice SRM is a Tune SmartFoot.  The cranks aren’t yet on the market and the availability … Read more

Lugs to Lightweights – Episode 10: Component Gathering

And so as Thursday rolls around it is now officially less than four weeks until I visit Baum for my measure-up and discussion about how my Corretto will look and be finished.  Excited?  Maybe a little… ok, yes – a lot.  But for the moment what this really means is that it’s time to start … Read more

Qualifying Bike Tart – Episode 3: Accessorising and The Finite Details

Now to spec up the kit… I thought this bit would be easy, but as time ticks by I’m wondering how many potential new developments will surface in time for me to make informed decisions, … Read more

Insane – 6.5kg MTB…
